Holiday Gift Baskets - Last Minute Lifesavers

Have you run out of time and ideas? Don’t sweat it. There’s still just enough time to get an awesome gift and, best of all, you don’t have to leave your desk (and brave the horrors of the mall) to do it. With just a handful of clicks you can find a scrumptious holiday gift basket. But if you want to send the coolest gift basket, you better act right now, baby … your window of time is about to close …

It happens to me every year. I run out of time and ideas every Christmas. (I always run out of money too, but that’s another story.)

While I’d love to have the time to build my own gift baskets from scratch, I always seem to turn to the pros.

Gift baskets are awesome. There’s one for every taste and budget. You can pack them with wine, cheese, cookies, chocolates, nuts, fruits, candy, popcorn, and all the good stuff that food and drink lovers love. And then there’s the non-obvious gift baskets, packed with sea food, steaks, honey, and beef sticks.

Oh yeah, beef sticks! (In all their low carb/high fat glory!)

I’ve yet to see a gift basket of beer, but I’ll bet somebody’s doing it. Just think of the fun you’d have plucking the extras as you build your bundles of gift basket joy. One for you and one for me … d’oh! How about a Homer Simpson gift basket?

If you have a local shop that can pull a gift basket together for you at the last minute, the more power to you. If not, you’ll want to get on the stick right now and check into the online vendors.

For a really geeky gift basket, how about cramming all of the components for a new PC into a lovely basket? Or how about the whole PC? It shouldn’t take too big a basket to fit a nice little Shuttle unit … :)
