I’ve been following WWDC all day, and it’s been a bittersweet experience. I’m extremely impressed with the 2.0 preview, especially the new app store and corresponding apps. They appear to be absolutely amazing. The $200 price drop made me twitch a bit. Unfortunately, one component remains that makes buying an iPhone an unpalatable experience. This component is AT&T. Surely you don’t believe that 3G data service will be the same price as Edge service. Pish Posh. Although the iPhone is now more affordable up front, AT&T has become a bigger thorn in the side.
