Yes, you read that title right!  Obama seriously has some obsession with his speech prompters that feed him the words for nearly every speech he gives.  Many political pundits explain that Obama has been using the prompter so much due to his use of the word “umm” when he tries to “think-on-the-fly”…  I look forward to the day when Obama doesn’t have a prompter to feed him his speech lines and we get to hear his OWN thoughts, and not those of his speech writers…  Oh how the tables will turn then…

Just before July 4, Obama made a statement about “revising” his Iraq policy if he were to become President.  His revision sounded like a 180 degree different immediately and the media jumped on it.  Within hours CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News all had stories up on their web sites and live on TV.  Of course, Obama’s Campaign handlers told him to correct his realization that Iraq is a war that must be fought.  His revisions included listening to the Generals more, understanding the withdraw process in more detail, explaining that troops will likely not come home as he initially stated, and of course my favorite, the fact that he completely changed his promise to get out of Iraq no matter what…

The recent discussions about Obama’s pastor has caused me to believe Obama needs a shovel to dig himself out of one heck of a hole…  He could always dig his way to China too…   It is amazing how the media is actually beating up on Obama for once.  Let me take this moment in…  [pause]…  Ok, I hope to see this happen again!  I’m thrilled to see that the media, at least FOX News, is really challenging Obama to explain his pastor’s remarks!  I’m glad McCain doesn’t have to deal with this!   : )

It was quite a scene to turn on the TV the last few days to see a sight right out of the old fashion political play book!  As one wise politician once said, “In order to look like Presidential material, you must completely act like you’re the Commander right now.”  In other words, if you want to be President you better show the voters that you know how to act when you become President.  Clinton and Obama each did that the past week when BOTH put on fundraisers/news conference/press junket/theatrical plays to make themselves look Presidential.  Funny thing is, the both took the same approach.  As it turned out, each campaign called up a bunch of old, not so well know, politicians to sit around a really long, rather odd looking, oval table and talk “policy”…  it was more like watching a bad High School play.  The “scene” was meant to look like the Situation Room where the President makes many life and death decisions for our country.  In my opinion, it looked like yet another pathetic campaign stunt…  boring…

The past week on the campaign trail showed the country that Barack Obama is starting to see the media play hardball.  Not only did Obama seem very flustered during campaign stops, he also walked away from the media’s questions during at least one Q&A Session according to numerous newspapers and CNN.  Later, on his plane, Obama talked to the media.  Obama, for the first time, sounded to be upset with the way the media has been covering him as of late.  Some would believe that his comments to reporters show that he is becoming growing tired with the constant media frenzy that runs the news cycle.

Some believe that the recent attitude change in Obama is due to the countless inquires about Obama’s business dealing with a soon to be Prison Inmate.

Senator McCain, a man of dignity, pride, and honor, has won the nomination for the Republican Candidate in the 2008 Presidential Election.  The Democrats have yet to get their nomination figured out as voters are struggling to find differences between Obama and Clinton.

I’ve been telling people for months that McCain was going to get the nomination and guess what, HE DID!!!  So, I guess you can just call me a genius or something like that…

With the countless politicians and financial experts bickering over whether the United States is facing a recession, people are trying to find ways to continue to make money to ensure they can make ends meet every month.  No doubt money make the world “go ‘round and ‘round,” but money worries shouldn’t make you lose sleep during this economic slowdown.  There are many ways to make extra cash on the side if you are up for a little tech challenge.

It is important to remember that the internet can be a great place to make a few easy bucks.  Who knows, maybe you can really hit it big on your own website or blog.  Most experienced tech folks know a few secrets to making money online, but there is a vast majority of the population that think the only way to make money online is through illegal “operations” (does gambling ring a bell?)…  I know many people who have some really great ideas but don’t know how to implement them in an online setting.  Here are a few ideas to help get your mind rolling when it comes down to the basics in making money online.

-The easiest way to make money online would be to create your own website and create content that relates to a hobby or job that you really enjoy.  By creating content about something you truly enjoy you are more likely to see the project through to the end; if there is an end…

-Another popular option is to blog your thoughts and ideas.  Blogging networks like Lockergnome offer any user (over 18 years of age) to take in 50% of all ad revenue made through ads on the site.  Google Adsense makes this process very simple and quite enjoyable to see your financial returns come in everyday.

-The final option, but most difficult, would be to create an online store of some kind.  I would only recommend this option for someone who has a product line that appeals to a certain audience.  It is also important to make sure that you will be able to supply your product line to multiple customers over a short period of time should multiple individual orders be placed for your products.

Just remember that there are many great and easy ways to make money online and not have to give up your day job just to manage it all.

I cannot tell you how many times I have heard people say they are getting a Mac (either notebook or desktop) for gaming purposes only.  Don’t get my wrong, Apple makes a nice line of notebooks and desktops, BUT they are simply not made for high performance gaming.  Macs are meant for video editing, graphics production, and daily business needs such as e-mail.  The only problem with a Mac is that their software simply does not allow for a gaming user to customize and alter the performance of the machine.  A PC on the other hand, almost always will provide those customized options to allow the advanced user to tweak their PC’s performance in a way that excels their gaming experience.

So, next time you are in the market for a computer ask yourself this question; what will be the main purpose for this new computer?  Depending on what your answer is to that question will lead you to select either a Mac or PC.
