Google Buys a Fighter Jet
Well Google has bought a lot of things in the last 10 years from Picasa to Blogger but now they’ve gone overboard with a fighter jet. The fighter jet is in a hanger at Moffett Field in Mountain View. A New York Times article said that, “the plane is outfitted with scientific instruments to help out with NASA missions.” The Google founders have also bought a couple other planes including a Boeing 757. All of Google’s planes have landing rights at Moffett, which is a couple miles away from the Google headquarters. Wonder what Google is going to buy next?

I saw some tv show where a guy had some rack-mounted equipment from a Titan missile. THAT would be tremendously cool to have in the house (or at work). Some sort of 3 space rack with TITAN across the front?
I wish I could get hold of that kind of thing… it’s much more amusing than planes, costs less to own, and is way more environmentally friendly.
It would probably keep the neighbors in line too.

Wow, it seems that Google has raised the stakes for their next hostile takeover.
