The top 5 reasons I don’t like MySpace

1) The design

It’s dreadful looking and it’s sometimes hard to figure out how to do something very simple.2)It’s too crowdedIt’s slow as hell much of the time and sometimes impossible to use.

3)The automatic flash music players

For gods sake, turn those @#!$% things off! I usually listen to my own music when working or surfing and to have random noise blasted at me is VERY annoying.

4) People get so mad at you if you don’t update

EXCUSE ME!!! I have had a website for almost 8 years don’t act like the fact that I neglect my MySpace page in favor of my own site is blasphemy, I have been blogging for way longer than most the MySpace junkies have and I actually take the time to make my site look nice.

5) Can you say “Geek”?

The lack of the ability for me to choose my well..everything (site design, widgets and plugins) has led me to set up shop elsewhere.

I think the social revolution is a wonderful thing and I love many social sites. (Digg,YouTube,Flickr) I just think it needs to be a little more user friendly.
