I am sorry my suggestion didn’t work out. Also, it was a nice tip for people who don’t realize that Mac OS X retains preference files in another folder/directory (whatever they call them now ).
You could try Camino. It uses Gecko (the rendering engine from Firefox) but it is a “slimmer” and more Mac OS X specific browser. I left you a link on our follow-up video blog (part 3). What are your thoughts on the latest Opera? Like it, hate it? If you haven’t tried it, they do offer a Mac version which is not too bad in my opinion (after being relatively heavily customized). The downside is, you lose the Firefox extensions if you use something else.
