What Iphone apps do you have?

Ever since I managed to jailbreak the 2.0 firmware I have been going crazy in the app store and getting as many apps as I can that are of course free, this is going to be a list of the apps I have and if they are ones that I recommend to you guys so let’s get started.

Tap Tap Revenge: I first played this when it was in the installer app and surprised that it’s still free in the app store, it’s a game that’s based on guitar hero. You have three colours (Red, Blue and Green) and you simply tap them as the colours come down the line. I recommend this to anyone even if you’ve never played guitar hero before as this is something a lot different, I do wish there was a bigger song selection though.

Phone Saber: When I got my Macbook pro one of the first things I downloaded was the Mac saber and have always had great fun with it, I was really hoping an iphone version would get made as it would be more fun than waving a 15 inch laptop around in the air. First time I ran it I had a few problems with sound but then I just shut my iphone down and turned it back on and everything has been fine since, if you want some simple fun on the iphone and want to act look like a fool at the same time then this is for you!

Bubble Wrap: The name pretty much explains it all, pop the most bubbles you can within a certain time. Sadly there is no high score board to upload your score on and share with everyone but at least it’s free, if you’re bored then go and download it.

VNC: This is a great little app for controlling the pc while you’re away from it, simply set up a little server connection and then you can control it. Only trouble I have is that my dual monitors can’t be fully seen so I can only see one full screen and about 1/4 of the second one but still an amazing app and one to definitely get and it’s free!

Remote: This app lets you control your iTunes music from your iphone and it’s really great, I posted a review for it on the UK iTunes store explaining a few things like how you can’t control your whole iTunes music library and that you are limited to the playlists you’ve setup which is something I am a little annoyed at as I don’t really use playlists I just play the music I like depending on what my mood is like. This app is for free and is one worth getting if you’re an iTunes lover.

Imaze: I played this once and that’s it, two levels which are easy and hard and it’s a very disappointing game to be honest, it’s way too sensitive when tilting the ball for the hard mode but easy is really easy so no worries for that level. I love doing mazes but this one is something I won’t be playing again and not something I recommend even if you’re bored unless you’re someone who likes a challenge then go for it.

Moo: I find this a good app for pranks, turn your iphone upside down and it moos and then turn it back up the right way and it moos again. Something that’s there for a bit of fun in my opinion so if you can think of great times of using it then download it, again it’s a free app.

Eventful: I downloaded this as I am a member of the Eventful site (link can be found on my links page). It’s a great app but the downfall is I live in an area that has no events, unless you count being annoyed by the people who live in your area an event? But still this is something worth downloading if you have an Eventful account.

Aurora Feint: This is a game that I consider to be like bejewelled but it has its own little twist, it’s got a little story going on and you have to build your own equipment to carry on and unlock other puzzles. Worth downloading if you want a lengthy game to play on the iphone, yes it’s free as well.

More Cowbell: I got this just for the fun really, tap the screen and you hear the cowbell, just an amusing app really and it’s free so download it if you are bored I guess.

Super Monkey Ball: Probably the most popular app for the iphone so far, I love the game although the tilt is really sensitive and it’s easy to fall off when playing a long level until you get used to it. I’m sure most of you have downloaded this already so is there any need for me to recommend it? This isn’t a free app and price varies depending on your Country.

Bejewelled 2: I am a huge fan of this game, I had it on my previous phone and I had the free version from the installer app called gemlogic but that wasn’t as fun as this. I say get this app if you are a gamer, I think it could be improved with more game modes though as there isn’t a lot on offer in this game at the moment. Again it’s not free so check iTunes for the price.

Band: Ever since I seen this demonstrated at the Apple event I wanted it right away so as soon as I had the chance I grabbed it. This has a lot to offer for creating a great tune and it has three recorded tracks already installed for you to listen to and edit. If you like creating music then get this without a doubt and you’ll enjoy it for sure. Not a free app though so check iTunes for the price.

Hope you find some of these apps good and enjoyable, if you have any apps you want to recommend then comment or e-mail me and I’ll post them and add them to this list after trying them out for myself.
