Mac tip - format DVDs

  • No Related Post

Earlier on I was experiencing trouble with formatting DVDs in Windows Vista as most of the time they were not being fully erased so i wasn’t able to use them when backing up my Itunes library. I also tried formattinging them in windows xp and still they were not being completely done so after a quick search in google I found a useful way of being able to rip DVDs in leopard without installing any software or having to wait a long period of time for it to be completed.

If you open up a terminal in leopard and simply type drutil erase quick (or you can type full depends on how you want to do it) and simply wait a while then you’re done and the DVD will be fully erased. I just thought i would post this tip for anyone out there who needs a quick way of ripping DVDs without having to download software, I hope this comes in use for anybody who needs it.

I apologise for yet another mistake I did when i posted this, I accidentally said rip DVDs so sorry for doing that
