I posted a while ago how i wouldn’t be that interested in the new apple application called mobileme but after watching the tour video on apple.com well i have become very interested in this but for one main reason that’s simply just to push everything to my iphone. If you’re a user of a jailbroken iphone then you’ll know that when you update you lose everything you have such as music, pictures and contacts and then you’re forced to set it all up again unlike official users of the iphone. Having mobileme would make things a lot easier as i could upload everything i need to mobileme and then it would be pushed down to my iphone making this a lot more easier for me.

The one issues I’m still having is the price, it is a good price for what it is doing but at the same time i’m not the richest person in the world so it would need some thinking time. I’m a little disappointed that it’s only 20gb of storage which i know sound selfish but I’m one of those people that can’t have enough free space and since my external hard drive has just decided to stop working then i good do with a reliable backup service and mobileme would be something I’d like. I’m not a user of Microsoft exchange but i’m assuming that this is basically apple’s version of exchange, like i said this is something i am no considering as it looks to be a great service and i hope the the price (for the UK) is at a good value and yes if you’re a business person then this is probably something you’d need.
