If you’re an iPhone owner then I’m sure you’ll be in the list of people who have been wishing that it had the feature of allowing you to record video on the good quality camera well thanks to those people who love to give us third party applications for the iPhone you now can!

I have been using a video recorder for a while called show time and it was a pretty bad at recording and i just couldn’t get along with it so then i browsed Google for some “news” on to another video recorder application called drunken bass had been finished yet. Sadly i found that it hadn’t but it’s then that i stumbled across the iPhone video recorder website and found that it was a completely finished application, there is a demo available through the installer on jailbroken iPhones that lets you record for 30 seconds in good quality with sound.

I was impressed by the options i could change with this app such as brightness, sound, what angle I’m holding the iPhone and what quality i would like which yes it is simple stuff in a way but not stuff that has been available for the iPhone. Anyway if you purchase the full version then you have no limit to how much you record which i do have the full version and i am enjoying what i can do with it, sadly the quality does get a little bad the longer the video goes on and it takes a while for the video to be encoded into the .mp4 format but in the end it is all worth it. Once you have made a video you have the basic options like play it back, delete, rename and you also have a sharing option which lets you send it through an e-mail or directly upload it to YouTube, i haven’t tried the YouTube uploading yet but sending it through e-mail works perfectly.
