Windows extra right click menus

After a recent flaw in my earlier tip i thought i’d post a new one to make up for it and this can be used in both windows xp and windows vista. All this does is simply add two extra menus to your right click, you get to add copy to and move to options. If you want to try this out then follow these steps:

1: Go to start then run and type regedit

2: Browse to this location:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers

(sorry for the huge gap here, it’s the google ads forcing it to do that)

3: Right click on ContextMenuHandlers and then hover over new and click on key

4: Call the new key copy to

5: On the right side, double click on default and you’ll get a pop=up box which will ask you to enter a value and for copy to you’ll need to enter this value in the value data box: {C2FBB630-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13} and then click OK

6: To create the move to options do the same again, right click on ContextMenuHandlers and hover over new and then click key and call it move to.

7: double click on the default again and enter this value:{C2FBB631-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13} The only difference in the values is that in copy to there is a number 30 and in move to it’s changed to 31.

That’s it, when you’re done simply open up windows explorer and right click on a file and you’ll see the two new options, “copy to folder” and “move to folder”.

Hope you found this useful, any questions then e-mail me, Seeya.
