Firefox 3 beta

Now i know that there are loads of articles about FireFox 3 all over the Internet and they all basically sound the same but i thought I’d post my thoughts and it’s also another post for my blog aswell. I downloaded the beta a few days ago and thought I’ll wait a while before i actually use it for something that will really test it out so as i am posting this i am downloading a video that was taking a while to watch online so i took the download method (using the download helper plugin anyway) and it’s going pretty fast a lot faster than actually waiting for it to buffer online anyway. I was a bit disappointed in the fact that some other plugins were not available for me to use but i am happy with what i was able to get. I have noticed a difference in speed especially with downloading, i was able to log into lockergnome pretty fast and normally on IE it would take quite a while so there is definitely a difference in speed. I’m still testing out a few things at the moment so i don’t have much more to say about the beta but I’m looking forward to the final release.
