This may be an old trick but earlier i found out an easy way of making ringtones for your iphone, you can easily make ringtones using garageband on leopard with ilife as you can import your songs (not protected ones though) and then you can edit them down to whatever you want and loop them for a constant playback for the ringtone. When you are finished with editing the ringtone then you can add it to your itunes ringtone list from garageband exporting list and then add it to your iphone as you normally would. As for windows users there is another way by using quicktime pro but that’s something i won’t go into now.
