Virtual Vista

I just thought I’d try something out with vmware earlier today and that was to install vista home premium in a virtual machine, installation was faster than what i thought but when it actually got to using the OS it was terrible. Vista didn’t detect any sound or Internet connection, none of the “WOW” features were available for me such as aero or the gadgets, after a restart vista was able to detect a Internet connection yet there was still no sound available for me so after about 5 minutes i deleted the virtual drive. This was only a test to see it would have performed and i know that it would be better using bootcamp but like my earlier post i don’t really wanna use bootcamp.
