When i first started using my macbook pro the first thing i wanted was a instant messaging service as i usually spend all my time using windows live messenger (formally msn messenger). I knew that you could get live messenger for a mac well same kind of software anyway that is known as Microsoft messenger, when i first got it i thought it seemed ok but something was bothering me about it as it did really feel like a good messaging client. I know leopard now comes with ichat but i can’t use my hotmail account with ichat, i went to search Google for any other IM clients available for the mac and i came across a program called adium and ever since i started using it I’ve loved it. It has support for all messaging services such as hotmail, aim and yahoo along with various others. The only thing i haven’t liked about IM clients on the mac is that there is no webcam support yet with the isight camera so because of that i have downloaded skype and that works fine for the video calls but as for normal chats i will be sticking with adium.For more information about adium and what it does then visit: http://www.adiumx.com  Seeya
