Yamipod

For a long time i have been annoyed by somethings that happen when i connect my ipod classic to itunes, sometimes when i want to sync one song somehow all my music gets erased and then i have to sync it all again and after a while this can be very annoying. I was looking at somebody else’s blog the other day (not lockergnome) and found free programs for the mac, one of the programs he mentioned was called yamipod which is a program that detects your connected ipod and then you can take all the songs from your ipod and copy them all over with ease and you can do it the other way round as well, just simply copy songs to your ipod without having to use itunes. I found this great for transferring songs between my pc and macbook pro as i done it all in minutes and without losing any music or anything on my ipod or even have to sync everything again. The only problem i had was it requires your ipods FWID which takes a while to be found but i found a very helpful guide when looking on google. Another great feature about this program is that it works on windows, leopard and linux so i have no worries when transferring my music now. So for anyone who is interested in this program or wants more information then visit the homepage here:

hope this is handy for you, seeya.
