If somebody was to ask a technician which was better between windows vista and windows xp well I’m sure everyone knows the answer to that, there have been so many bad things said about vista and yeah I understand that vista is a poor operating system compared to older ones. Vista has great features to it but the requirements is what lets it down (in my opinion), you have a nice graphical interface with aero glass but you need a good graphics card to run it properly and yet for another operating system such as Linux ubuntu this can be done with ease and no requirements of a graphics card that could power a city!!! If you want to have the “wow” experience then you will once again need to upgrade your computer even more, I recently upgraded my (old) laptop so that it has 2 GB of ram yet this was still only enough to handle the windows gadgets. If I wanted the full features on my laptop then I would probably have to go out and just buy a whole new laptop but once again when comparing this to ubuntu, it ran perfectly on my laptop even without the 2gb of ram and beryl was running really smoothly. So what more can be said about vista? well another thing people will complain about compatibility issues and how that almost nothing will run with it properly. The only chance Microsoft have is releasing a operating system that people will enjoy using, here’s me hoping that windows seven will be fun too use but so far the sound of touch screens isn’t really making me jump for joy. I apologize if this post has not made much sense but I did kind of drag on…
