Iphone folders

When you connect your iphone to your pc (windows) then the only acces you have to any of the folders/files on the iphone is the photos that you have taken with the camera which well isnt’t the best thing in my opinion as i was intertested in getting full access to my iphone so i could see all the folders for the apps that i have installed, the reason for doing this (for me) was so i could add custom themes to my iphone and i needed access to the app folder on the iphone to add ones i created or downloaded off the net myself. If you would like to get acces to the root folders in your iphone then get a ftp program (i use cuteftp) and then you can get into your iphone with that by using ssh and you need a jailbroken iphone to do this, to set this up all the info you need to add to cuteftp is your iphones ip address, the iphone user name (which is always root) and the password that you have which came when you installed ssh (if you don’t know it then you can change it by downloading a terminal app to the iphone)and then you just to program cuteftp to connect to the ihpone through a sftp connection.

Setting this up has made a lot of things easier when adding files to my iphone (not just themes), if you need to know more then there are tutorials for this all over the net and if you don’t want to use cuteftp then you can also use other programs for this such as puTTy and winscp.
