Michael Vick Gets Nailed With 23 Month Sentence

Monday morning Michael Vick, former Atlanta Falcon quarterback, was sentenced to 23 months of jail time for his activities in dog fighting. Vick has already served a little less than a month worth of time, after he surrendered himself on November 19th to begin serving some of his sentence. Vick arrived to the court room wearing the black and white stripped prison uniform. Though, numerous attempts to plead with Judge Henry E. Hudson, he proclaimed, “I’m not convinced you’ve fully accepted responsibility.” Legal analysis expect Michael Vick to serve the majority of his sentence, at least 20 to 21 months of the 23 month sentence.

Did Michael Vick receive a fair sentence or did the justice system fail in this instance?
