Dog uses the “N” word

In the olden days, people used to be able to spew their hatred all over the place without any consequences and repercussions, but now things are finally changing, for the good and the worse. A few weeks ago, it was Nobel Peace Prize winner Dr. James Watson, claiming that Africans are intellectually inferior than their white counterparts. Now its Duane Chapman “Dog the Bounty Hunter” using racial epithets to describe and speak about his son’s girlfriend. A few decades ago, he would have gotten applauded for his little ranting, but now his show has been suspended and everyone has turned a smile into a frown. This once upon a time convict, turned Christian, used to make people feel good, knowing there was hope for everyone. Dog was just the good guy kind of man. But now, people aren’t so sure any more. They are very speculative of his recent actions. I myself, used to love the show, now I will think twice about viewing it. People do make mistakes, but where should we draw the line?

With recent events such as those of Dog’s, Dr. Watson, Don Imus, and Bill Reilly, it’s hard to say where the world is in terms of race relations.
