I used to enjoy waking up in the morning and turning on the latest news to hear whats going on in the world. But, it seems today, while listening to my favorite news channels, most of the stories were negative for the most part, especially those headlines about the economy.

The report today was that home sales have fallen below 8%, which are statistics people are claiming are the worst in decades. These figures are just darn right disturbing for individuals  looking forward to putting their homes up on the market in the near future. But the interesting thing is, while sales have fallen 8%, they were actually up in some regions such as the Midwest and the Northeast. Experts claim this is because people are holding their homes longer instead of giving them up for lower prices. Either way, maybe its possible that people, whether they would like to or not, will eventually have to lower the prices of their homes in order to get them to sale. With drops such as 8%,thats pretty stiff, it seems as though some people would be lucky to sell a house in this kind of market.
