Yahoo!, AIM, MSN: A Bored Girl’s Dream, Or Worst Nightmare?

I am a huge instant messenger fan, really big fan. However, it wasn’t until recently that I really began to get exclusive about who I spoke with online. I used to be down for every chat room and instant messenger client: yahoo, aim, msn, icq and others. It just all seemed so cool. Talking to others from around the world, being exposed to new things. But, really quickly it just got a little old. I got fed up with the buzzes, the rude people who only wanted you to turn on your web camera to see you naked. This stuff really started to freak me out. Especially when on yahoo instant messenger people were allowed to create their own rooms.

I find it very interesting the limitation of chat rooms, but somehow they find the space for rooms such as “self pleasure.” Wow, I found this so hysterical when I realized they disabled the functions to create your own rooms, but they allowed for rooms such as these to exist. How awful is this. This seems to be a breeding ground for foul activity. Anyway, I suppose that people should have the right to do as they please and I shouldn’t be the judge. One thing I am am certain is this, I will think twice about trying to fill void time with chatting with individuals on Yahoo or AIM, which seem to be some of the most popular, also MSN. It seems that decency has gone to the background while “self pleasure” has risen to the top. Oddly enough, those rooms are over packed galore. Those people sure did find something to occupy their time, while I was stuck waiting for something else to come along or a BUZZ!
