Sony has slashed its development kit

Sony has cut the price of its development kit to $10,250 with further price cuts expected when more game companies adopt the technology.

New Low Priced PS2 to be Released in 2008

Sony is yet again re-releasing the PlayStation 2, this one is going to be a lot slimmer and smaller than the original PS2.
The new model has a built-in power supply and is expected to cost just $129 or £75.
The console is due out early 2008.
