New fibre service to use sewer systems!

We all know how expensive it is to get a fibre service to your home, it can cost thousands just to get the cable to your door due to manual labour involved by digging up the road until you reach your house.

To solve this a new company called H20 networks has been in negotiations for the past 5 years to lay fibre optic cable in the sewer systems which would lower the cost dramatically because its already been dug out and it leads right to your home. This means that more people will be able to enjoy a much faster connection of up to 20Gbps which is phenomenal compared to the UK’s average of 2-4Mbps.

“To roll out a networking deploying fibre over a 2km area would be six to 12 months in the planning. We can do it physically in four hours,” said Mr Thomas.
