Da Vinci’s Last Supper has now been immortalized and digitized. On October the 28th the image went live allowing people to view the extraordinary painting in greater detail than if they were to go there themselves .

This allows people to study the painting at their own leisure and for people further on in time to see how the picture has degraded and changed.
The Last Supper was originally completed in 1498 and was then painstakingly restored back in 1999. Experts removed 500 years of dirt which Leonardo had experimented with the way he painted but that meant that the paint did not stick to the surface.
I hope this can be done to more paintings like the Mona Lisa, La Grande Jatte and the Persistence of Memory.
The picture can be found at this link.

You can call him Leonardo or you can call him Leonardo Da Vinci, however, you cannot call him just Da Vinci.
How would you like to be addressed by the name of the city you were baptized in?
He called himself Leonardo or I, Leonardo.
Him and I split many pizzas in a previous life. Not to mention the red wine. Hic.
