Top 3 Games To Buy This Year For The PC

1. Crysis

Crysis

Crysis is a first person action shooter set on a tropical island in the year 2020. You play as Jack Dunne a special forces Operative for the US army. You have been sent to the island to investigate an asteroid which crash landed their only to find the North Korean government got their first and have sealed off the island. Crysis prides itself for being photorealistic and one of the first true games to fully support DX10.

The game is expected out for release on November the 16th and with many people having upgraded the whole PC just to play this game its guna be great to see if it delivers.

2. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Call of Duty 4

This is the first time that the CoD series has steered away from World War 2 and I must say that Activision have done a remarkable job at keeping the sense of organised chaos and atmosphere that all the other CoD games have had.

To spice up the multiplayer element they have included a create-a-class which as you progress in multiplayer and rank up you will unlock more options and abilities to upgrade your character with these can include such abilities like a faster running speed, explosive detections to a last stand mode where you get to fire off a final few rounds before you die. With the ability to also upgrade your weapons this should spice things up between the CoD fans.

It has just been released in America and is due out for release on November the 9th for the rest of the world.

3. The Orange Box

Orange Box

This has got to be the barging of the year for both Xbox 360 owners and PC owners. It includes Half-Life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2, Team Fortress 2 and Portal all for a small sum of £22 you can’t get much better than that. If you already own Half-Life 2 and Episode 1, Valve has given the option to give these games away as gifts to your friends.

I definitely recommend picking this up because you will not be disappointed. With the new addition of earning achievements in-game, it has instant replay value.

I bought CoD 4 yesterday and played the multiplayer for about 5 hours straight, the game is just AWESOME for mp. Single player I have not even touched yet and prob wont be for a while, the multiplayer is just too much fun. Kept the same great feel as the other CoD games, love it!

10/10 for multiplayer!

Very nicely put together list, I could’nt agree more with your choices. Call of Duty for arriving for Steam may keep the hassle with Steam and Microsoft burning for that little bit longer.

Crysis does look awsome indeed but call of duty 4 i have never liked any COD games they seem……boxy to me if that makes sence but orange box is amazing (team fortress 2) got it for xbox and oooo :D

wwe raw game…

Thanks for the nice read, keep up the interesting posts…..
