How To Use MyEmpire On Your iPhone

If you play Empire Avenue, you may want to keep up with your portfolio, notifications, shareholders, and your own current share price while on the go. The value of your investments on Empire Avenue can change quickly, but if you have an iPhone, you can easily track your Empire Stats wherever you go. Fans of Empire Avenue have created an app, available in the iTunes App store, called “MyEmpire” to help you monitor not only your portfolio, but also new arrivals and the Empire Avenue leaderboards. MyEmpire also features the ability to change your settings as well as update your status.

Before you use MyEmpire, you will need to create an actual login to Empire Avenue at EmpireAvenue.com. Usually, you probably just connect with your Facebook account. To create a password to login to Empire Avenue manually, sign in with your Facebook account at Empireavenue.com and click on “settings” at the very top of any page on Empire Avenue. Then, click on “Change Password” and select a password to use to manually log in to Empire Avenue. You will use this password on the MyEmpire app. Your username is automatically your “ticker” that others identify you by on Empire Avenue. For example, you can find me on Empire Avenue at www.EmpireAvnue.com/KELLYC, and so my username is “kellyc”.

myempire is the iphone app for empire avenueOnce you have created your password, download MyEmpire for your iPhone and sign into the app. You will have an immediate overview of your profile, as well as the ability to toggle between you Empire Avenue notifications, which details who has recently invested in you. MyEmpire also features the ability to manage your Empire Avenue portfolio right from your iPhone, including the ability to quickly buy or sell more shares. You can also quickly buy and sell any of your shareholders from the MyEmpire app as well, in addition to seeing stats about their price, highs and lows, and quick access to their profiles. The “more” button in the navigation bar also allows MyEmppire users to check Leaderboards for those who never want to miss a chance at a good investment – or see who to dump.

MyEmpire is a great app for Empire Avenue users who don’t want to miss a minute of the action on this up-and-coming social network. Find MyEmpire, priced at only $.99, in the iTunes app store, and if you haven’t started playing Empire Avenue yet, sign up at Empire Avenue.

    Hey Kelly, just need to clarify — while MyEmpire is a very cool app, we (the Empire Avenue team) didn’t build it and cant’ take the credit for it — rather it was a group of Empire Avenue fans that banded together to build it. It works, and works well (I use it daily :) .

        Hi Ruhani, what do you mean you can’t use it? I know there is an issue if you joined EAV with Facebook.. and if you don’t change your password in EAV after the app cannot authenticate as the EAV API is not allowed to share login information. So, if you are having an issue logging in.. try changing your password on Empire Avenue. Also note, that special characters also present a problem (i.e. Ampersand) so try a password with Alpha-Numeric and should be fine.

          Oh I’ve joined EAv with Facebook but I’ve already created password manually (alpha numeric). Once I put ticker name and password and click sign in. It says “logging in ..” (Screen shot: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/35/photokse.png/ ) for few seconds and then back to login screen again. But if I put wrong ticker it says wrong password. (My Phone is using IOS 4.3.1)

    I’m having trouble signing in with the app. I know I have set a password and am using it with my ticker.

    This didn’t worked. I’ve already created password manually. Once I put ticker name and password and click sign in. It doesn’t do anything. But if I put wrong ticker it says wrong password. This app wasn’t updated since nov 2010!? (IOS 4.3)
