why politics in my family can ruin a party

Last Saturday night my parents had planned a party. It all went according to plan. Until… Someone had to bring up politics. The thing is, with my dad you don’t bring politics up unless you want to be proven wrong or even cry because you don’t get a chance to argue. My dad is that bad that it scares people to where they either leave the room or end up not talking to my dad. He can ruin friendships because he gets so worked about politics. It doesn’t matter if you’re talking about McCain, Obama, Bush, Kerry, Edwards, etc. It doesn’t matter what the subject is. You will not win against my dad at all. He even makes people cry. Or so he has said. That’s why I stay out of it

It’s sad that he doesn’t even give people a chance at all to defend themselves. He just tries to lecture you and make you feel bad and. It even rubs off on me at some times which I don’t like at all. I don’t care that much about politics but at times my dad’s behavior of politics rubs off on me.

He ruined a party because he can’t control his anger and his emotions. He is that bad, It gets worse when people egg him on or try to fight back against him. My word of advice don’t say anything about him to him unless you want to me yelled and lectured.
