Life Just Got A Little Bit Better

I passed my CIT 1111 class! A.K.A Computer Hardware Maintenance. Well today I started my CIT 1112 class. It went well. Being the first day though there wasn’t a lot we did. Just got the syllabus went over what certification that were available. I don’t really even need to take this class to take the A+ test. I can go take the test anytime I want to, as long as I show the teacher and she gives me credit for it. But I don’t think I am ready for it quite yet. I know a lot about computers, but the more I learn now the more I know when it’s time to take the test.

I don’t have to worry about buying any new materials because it uses the same book and labs as my old CIT 1111 did. So in the long run It saved me and my parents money. I am all for saving money. One thing I do like about this teacher that I didn’t like about my old one is that she’s a little bit more into it and is a bit more interactive with the students. My old teacher would just sit in front of the class and read power point slides all day long and then when he was done we could leave the classroom. He also never told us what chapters were due for homework. Which for me I don’t like I need to know when things are due.

I think I am going to enjoy this class a little bit better. The teacher is from a different country as well so it makes it even more interesting to learn from her. Not saying she is a bad teacher. She does seem very dedicated to her job and seems to care and love her students very much. She wants us to succeed in her class. She wants us to take the A+ or any CompTia certification test. Which by the way I have thought about taking more classes to take the Linux+ test and even the Server+ certification too.

Right now I should just take it one step at a time. Don’t want to try and overload my mind with so many options. I just want to pass CIT 1112. Then maybe explore some more options. I don’t want to think about all these options at the moment.
