Last night was a very historic night in baseball, no, no one hit a record breaking home run. Last night was the closing of Yankee Stadium. After eighty five years of histroy and passion Yankee stadium will close down and be torn down for ever and the Yankees will have a new stadium after this year. It was a sad night last night, and Yankee stadium was a great place to play and it had so much traditon behind it.
It was very nice to see Babe Ruth’s daughter Julie who is ninety years old, throw out the first pitch. It was amazing to see a women of that age throw out the first pitch, It had to be one of the best thing I’ve ever seen in Yankee histroy. It’s sad to see her dad dead though, He was a great baseball player. It was a histroic event (Did I say that enough already?) Yankee Stadium was already home to the New york Giants who now at a football stadium. It also held many events, Yankee stadium that is.
