School update number two.

I finished my first full week of school. It was rather interesting to say the least. I am really liking my computer hardware class, even though it can get rather boring because it’s pretty redundant. Other then that it’s pretty fun. We just make jokes about Microsoft and Apple and even Linux. It’s what we geeks do. We make fun of every operating system just to get everyone included. That and to just to say that every operating system has it’s flaws.

I have only have two classes this semester. English and Computer hardware maintenance. then I have the next highest class CIT1112 next semester along with English. I know you’re saying “wow you’re only taking two classes?” Yes I am. The more classes I take the more tired I am and the less I can concentrate. My computer Hardware class is at nine o’clock in the morning. My English class is at two in the afternoon. So I have a lot of down time. Which is nice at times. But at other times it’s a complete drag.

It really helps when I have that much time because I can study, grab lunch. I even check my college emails for any instructor emails for any new email. My teachers don’t really do that, They usually just hand out homework that we have to complete. Now I only go to class on Tuesday and Thursdays. Wednesday is a nice off day for me because I can go to the local library and get some work done.

It’s nice to have Friday off at times, It allows me to have three days off and study, do homework. Even look for a real job. I have taken more time to be committed to school. Now that’s not to say I wasn’t commited to it before, I just wasn’t as focused as I should of been.

The first year I went to school I was a bit overwhelmed by the number of classes and how college worked. I guess that is why I did really bad. So that is why I only signed up for three classes. Two this semester and one plus my english class next semester. I am very excited about this year. I hope It is better then last year. I will keep you all updated on how It goes.
