Is the army a good choice for me?

  • No Related Post

So today before I headed out the door to go to class and get my books for school, I got a call from the U.S. Army. Now I don’t mind them calling me, but I wasn’t really sure if the guy was offering a job or was asking me to enroll the Army. I was really unsure So I told the guy “I’ll think about it.” He gave me his number. So I really have some thinking to.

I thought about it as I was driving to school and I thought “Maybe this isn’t a bad idea, but I should really sit down with my parents and see what they think.” I really like computers and when I was talking to the young men he was just like me. He’s repaired them destroyed them to make them work again. That made me jump the gun and I wanted to sign up. I don’t want to rule anything out at all. I am currently looking for a job as many of you know if you read my other posts about that.

I’d like to get a job working at the Army, because if they’re offering me a job to work with computers and that field then I will take it. But if I am being asked to enroll and go fight overseas then No thank you. I’d just like a job not a ticket to Iraq. Not saying I hate the United States of America. But I am in school and I don’t want to fight a war and then go back to school. I want to get one thing done at a time. Don’t want to bit off more then I can chew. So I was mistaken for a job, are they just asking me to enroll and then ship me overseas. Or was it for real. I’m not really sure. I’d rally like to believe that it’s a job.

There’s nothing wrong with seving your country. But let it be you not just someone cold calling. The Question is Would you be willing to join the Army on your own. Is it going to solve any problems you have. Think Hard since it will be one of the hardest things you’ll ever do in your life.
If you do want it ,Go For It
