Be Army Strong

So today before I headed out the door to go to class and get my books for school, I got a call from the U.S. Army. Now I don’t mind them calling me, but I wasn’t really sure if the guy was offering a job or was asking me to enroll the Army. I was really unsure so I told the guy “I’ll think about it.” He gave me his number. So I really have some thinking to.

I thought about it as I was driving to school and I thought “Maybe this isn’t a bad idea, but I should really sit down with my parents and see what they think.” I really like computers and when I was talking to the young men he was just like me. He’s repaired them and destroyed them to make them work again. That made me jump the gun and I wanted to sign up. I don’t want to rule anything out at all. I am currently looking for a job as many of you know if you read my other posts about that.

I’d like to get a job working at the Army, because if they’re offering me a job to work with computers and that field then I will take it. But if I am being asked to enroll and go fight overseas then no thank you. I’d just like a job, not a ticket to Iraq. Not saying I hate the United States of America, but I am in school and I don’t want to fight a war and then go back to school. I want to get one thing done at a time. Don’t want to bite off more then I can chew. So was I mistaken about being offered a job; are they just asking me to enroll and then ship me overseas? Or was it for real? I’m not really sure. I’d really like to believe that it’s a job.
