Sox or Cubs? Who I think is better

I am a huge Chicago White Sox fan. They’re my favorite baseball team in Chicago. I hate the Cubs and always will. Baseball in Chicago is beyond insane. Cubs and White Sox fans cannot get along ever. They fight at ball games, they fight on YouTube, and in emails. So on and so forth. Cubs fans consider White Sox fans jerks. Sox fans consider Cubs fans arrogant and jerks and rednecks. All around it is just bad blood and we can’t get along. I on the other can get along with Cubs fans only because I have some friends that are Cubs fans, so I have grown to respect Cubs fans, because they are in first place in the National League Central. I have to hand it to Cubs fans this year. They are in first place and don’t show any sign of choking. They have always choked. That also means that the fans are horrible when the Cubs lose. Cubs fans also seem to think it’s their town. So every time they win they seem to push the Sox fans out of the way or give me or any Sox fan an evil glare. It’s Chicago - I can walk were I please, right?

White Sox fans on the other hand seem to be nicer. There have been times when I am not happy with the Cubs, but I have grown to be gracious in defeat. I don’t let it get to me. I just let the Cubs fans have their glory. But now Cubs fans just seem to always rub it in when they sweep a team in three or even four games. I find that a bit annoying and rude. I have never come out and said, “Oh, look we beat the Minnesota Twins in three games - it was a sweep.” Why rub it in? It honestly makes you look really arrogant and stuck up. I know there’s a thing called taking pride in your team, but saying stuff like that on Facebook or on the Internet? Come on. Now I am guilty of this when the White Sox win. I might twitter “Sox win” or something, but I don’t bask in the glow because of a sweep and I don’t try to intimidate other teams and start a ruckus. I just wish for once that both Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox fans could get along and stop the fighting. I am sick of it.
