Going back to school

The end of my summer semester didn’t end to well at school, I was unable to attend summer school because my grades were not that stellar. So I have recently decided to go back to school and study computers and get my A+ certification. I am very excited about this and I am very happy that I will be a certified computer technician. I already know a lot about computers in general and I am very happy to help people fix there computers, or even install an operating system on someone’s computer. A lot of people are very scared to even touch a computer because they are afraid of something breaking. Well I am not and never have been afraid of touching a computer. I have had a passion for them ever since I was born. Computers have been in my blood my whole life. I just love being around them. They are a big part of my life.

I have heard that the A+ test is hard, but I have also hard that is very easy. I guess it really depends on how much you know about computers and how much you are willing to learn about them. It just boils down to how much studying you are willing to put into the test in order to pass it. Studying is something that doesn’t come easy for me at all. But If I put my mind too it I can probably pass the test, and then find a good solid job that will allow me to fix computers.

I am really excited to start school in the fall. I just know that I will have a lot of fun doing what I love doing. Computers are becoming a very big part of everyone’s lives and they are in high demand nowadays. Which is a very good thing for the computer techies out there. It gives us the chance to fix people’s computer for a living. I am very happy with my career path.

I recently completed the A+ Certification class for Software and it was pretty basic info. If you know how to fix general things on Windows computers. There are a few Mac questions, I am a Mac user, but they where really out dated.

If you have any questions about the A+ or anything feel free to email me at anytime.

good luck,

If you are already fixing computers and have an interest, you have a great head start.

Something else you might want to look into is interviewing skills. Another is networking skills (not the computer kind). Certification is one part of the package. Actually getting the job is another.

Some employers will look for certification. Some will look for experience. Some only care how you dress. The more enlightened ones look for aptitude, not attitude. There are precious few degrees in my department but these guys (and girl) are good. Be a complete package.

Best of luck!
