Does My Internet Service Provider Have Issues?

I have had nothing but bad luck with Comcast. They never seem to get along with me very well. I recently got a server which I can use to back up my files and even my music and photos. It seems apparent that Comcast is not liking the fact that I am running a server. I really don’t see a reason to do this, It’s not I am doing illegal actibity or anything wrong. About every two days or so Comcast takes my whole network down because of a server that has a legit purpose of backing up files and documents. The other day I twittered this and someone told me that I can upgrade to a business connection and for five dollars more I could get a static IP address. I really don’t see to do this because my server is not doing anything Illegal not am I using for it any Illegal activity. So I am really unclear as in why Comcast decides to do this, It is really mind boggling and really frustrating.

Then the other day my mom wanted to watch television. She forgot that we a sports package, The guy who installed the sports package most not of done it right because we don’t get any local channel like ABC or NBC. So now my mom has it with comcast and is going to be making a call to AT&T. I knew it was a only a matter of time that my mom and dad would make the switch. I will have to talk to AT&T personally and see what the deal is about servers and live streaming, Which by the way I am starting to do more of. Comcast has taken us to the last straw. Once we make the switch I wont have to deal with them and I will be a much happy camper.
