There are plenty places to go to get your computer fixed. Some like Geek Squad and some like firedog. When I wanted to get my ipod fixed I brought it to geek squad hoping they would fix it, they ended up wanting me to pay more than two hundreds dollars to get a little scratch in the screen fixed. I wasn’t going to pay two hundred plus for a little scratch on my screen, It seemed like a complete scam to me so I just told geek squad “no thank you” and toke back my ipod. My experience with Geek Squad was pretty bad and I don’t think I’ll ever go to them for a repair ever again. Geek Squad has been known of peeping toms and stealing your information, I don’t want to ever go back to geek squad because of this. Geek squad has ruined the reputation as being a good computer repair company when everyone found out that they were stealing there customers personal information. When ever I am at best buy I never see a geek squad associate helping out customers with T.V’s or computers.

Firedog which I have not had a lot of experience with seems to me like a much better company. I see a lot of firedog associates helping out customers, and that make me feel like firedog is doing a much better job to begin with. I haven’t heard anything bad about them so far at least. Firedog also seems to know a little bit more than geek squad. But why settle for firedog or geek squad when you could settle for a technician like me or someone in your neighborhood. Most people probably think someone like me would steal the information or not do a very good job. But most of the techs my age have a lot more experience than geek squad. In fact you want to hear something just shocking. I know someone who was interviewed by geek squad and she literally asked the geek quad employee “what kind of certification do I need or what kind of experience do I need to work for you” the girl laughed and said you don’t need anything. So basically they going to hire people with no experience at all. That’s just embarrassing. Someone like me is in school and studying really hard in school so when it comes for people to call me for repairs I will at least have some knowledge and know what I am doing.
