FCC

I know this is old news but It’s being posted on engadget and slashdot.org. So I figured I would have to blog about this. The FCC is now investigating comcast and there traffic shaping of bittorent traffic. Comcast has been shaping bittorrent traffic but yet they deny the fact that they have not. “we were just doing some networking cleanup and if we stop your bittorents than were sorry”. That to me seems like a huge lie. If comcast was updating there network than why have I been capped more than three or four times in the last few months for downloading legal torrnets like Ubuntu or Fedora.

If comcast has an issue with me and my use of legal bittorents than they can call me and tell me personally. But I see nothing wrong what I am doing. If I am using bittorents for legal reasons than what seems to be the big deal? Untill I get a call or a email than I will not stop downloading linux distros for free with bittorents.
