Every year or so I usually play fantasy football online. It is always prety fun and I enjoy it. However this year was actually pretty bad and I didn’t very good at all, In fact I lost every single game this year. Was it the fact that I just didn’t care at all, or was it the fact that I think I have a roster and then I realize that it’s just mediocre. I personally don’t know. I just like to play fantasy football for fun and not really money. I find it fun to compete with others and just have fun doing it as well.

My dad on the other hand is a complete fantasy football newbie and he only started playing fantasy football this year. My dad had recently changed jobs and at his new job they have a employee fantasy football group, and they actually play for money. He had an okay team and, I thought he might win a few games. We were both wrong, When he checked his team and his players every weekend before games he would also find a steal in the free agent market. It always seemed to make his team better. He won enough games to get him a trip to the playoffs.

I have taken a lot of his advice into consideration. I’ve learned its not about the player. Its about the numbers and not to draft a really good quarterback. You can have all the best players in the world, but if there not going to do much then you need to find new players. My dad did that and it seemed to work a lot better and it seemed to win him a lot of games. Whatever he did it worked.

Next season Im going to pick my player a little bit more carefully and will not just pick them by there name. I will pick them based on there stats from last year and how well they did overall. I will not pick them because they are the best player in the NFL. I have learned from my dad who has been doing fantasy football for only a year now.
