I am sure most of you have heard about Barry Bonds, and his indictment. This is major news to the Major League Baseball and everyone who plays Baseball. Barry Bonds is the current home-run leader with a total of seven hundred and fifty six homeruns. That passes the “legend” Henry “Hank” Aaron with 755 homeruns. Barry Bonds is a liar, cheater and just a down right dirty player. Lying other oath in a federal court is a serious offense.

Barry Bonds could face up to thirty years in prison because he lied under oath. Barry Bonds steroids agent is also in prison, because he did not cooperate with federal juries and because of this he is in jail. I hope Bonds goes to jail to for cheating in baseball.

Barry Bonds was indicted on perjury and obstruction of justice. When Barry was asked if he did steroids he replied with a very blunt answer ” no ” But that is a lie. He did do steroids. Go ahead and look at every picture of him, you will see a dramatic increase from his early years and his later years. All of these pictures will look a little different of course due to growing and age.

The fact that he grew massively over the last few years is crazy, Is that due to growth and age, NO! Steroids cause major growth. They also cause a lot of injuries as well. Which is why it always seemed odd to me when Barry Bonds did not play on certain days.. He was always hurt and always getting hurt. I also think he sometimes acted hurt to avoid facing legal action.

The other important thing to note here is that every time Barry Bonds was up to bat he would hit a homerun out of the ball park every singe time. That is just not real. If your going to hit a home run at least have some talent. Now I could never hit a homerun but it’s just ridiculous how fast Barry Bonds would hit them out. I look at a lot of players and see them struggle to hit homeruns. I’m not saying Bonds does not have talent, I’m saying he cheated and does not deserve credit for all of the home runs he has hit.

A lot of people haved asked in Major League Baseball if Barry Bonds will get it to keep his trophy or if there will be a asterisk (*) next to his name. I think he should get neither. He should lose the title and the record and give it up. He cheated to get to the top. Cheating in baseball is not allowed and you will be caught sooner or later.

I also see other players like Alex Rodriguez hit the baseball out of the park a lot, He has talent and he will soon be chasing down the seven hundred fifty six homerun mark. Alex Rodriguez has great talent and great power. It toke him years and years to get to where he is now. I hope Alex Rodriguez passes Barry Bonds and Bonds loses his homerun record championship. He doesn’t deserve it all.

Someone who has pure talent should get the record not someone who cheated. The only problem with the record is that it’s such a big number and no body will ever catch up to it. You shouldn’t have to take steroids or Human growth Hormones to make yourself a better overall player.
