I love this time of year so much. Thanksgiving is a very great holiday and I love to eat great food. This year my grandparents are coming into town for a week for Thanksgiving. We usually either go to to their house or we stay here. But this year my family is doing something different and mixing it up a little, My grandparents are coming here this year, then we will have dinner at my house. Then go to my cousin’s house for desserts and cocktails — well, I won’t be having any cocktails since I am underage. I am more into football on Thanksgiving.

Now I love my grandparents dearly. I really do. But they’re sometimes very critical of my me and my parents. Here is one example of how they can be critical. Last time they came I had nowhere to sleep and they were yelling at my parents like it was their fault, which is really my fault. So I slept in my room with my parents; they slept on my bed, I slept on the floor. That wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. But being critical is very annoying sometimes.

Christmas should also be fun this year. Even though I didn’t ask for anything this year. But I love eating lots and lots of food as well. To me Christmas is a much more spiritual and meaningful holiday. There are some people who do not celebrate Christmas, so for those who don’t I am sorry. We aren’t expecting a lot of snow this year, since we have a had mild fall and extremely hot summer. Holidays are exciting. I think everyone loves them because they are a great time to be with your family.

I’ve seen a lot of bad things happen over the holidays, and it saddens me in a way, because these people will not be able to be with their families. Everybody deserves a chance to be with a family or family members. So never let them leave your sight.
