Here are some tips to improve Vista and make it run faster.
- Turn off UAC = User Account Control, make sure you go to Start type in “run” in Instant Search. then once you have opened that up type in “Mscnofig.” then go to tools and go down till you see Disable UAC and hit Apply. Then it will be off. NOTE: you must restart your computer for it to work.
- Disable AEROGlass, to make it run faster and use less memory as well.
- While you are still in Msconfig go to bott and go to “advanced options” and select the number of processors you want to use to boot Vista. WARNING: I am not responsible for any Blue Screens you may get.
- run Vista in Classic mode.
- Disable the Sidebar
- Un-Install Vista and Install XP Pro
Well I hope these tips help you and I hope this makes your Vista Experience a little bit easier. Enjoy your new Vista and try not to get a Blue Screen of Death.
