Custom PC vs. Buying One

What do you think is better building a PC, or buying a PC already built with an operating system and all the software the vendor puts on it. Either one is a good but there are many reason why Building a PC is much better then buying one from Best Buy or Fry’s or even Micro Center.
Making a PC is a much better way to go because you get to pick what you want. If you want a high end gaming rig you can go out and buy the parts that you want to make it. You can also decide how much memory you want. What kind of hard drive you want and what type of monitor you can get. Making a pc might be more expensive but you can do what you want with it as well. Building a PC is a great choice as well because it will last longer.
Buying a factory made pc is the right choice if you want just to want to surf the web and check your email and do a little gaming. Not only are they good for that but there also good for Home networks and home offices. A lot of business relay on computers like Dell or HP to ship them good computers as well.
But I believe that building a pc is a much better overall better decision as well for someone who doesn’t want to shell out 2,000+ dollars for a nice gaming rig, if your want to do email and office products you can get any PC.
If you can find good deals then you can build a pc for 2,000 with the right parts and right website to go to. But most Dells or HPs cost a little over 2,000 and usually dont have as many features as well.

Actually, building a computer will cost a whole lot less then factory build computers if you can find great deals. You’ll find that you can build a computer equal to a $5,000 Dell computer for only a fraction of the price.
http://www.newegg.com is probably the best place to get computer parts for all those interested in building their own computer. The only problem with building a computer is the fact that not everyone knows how to build one; and many are scared they will break their computer if they decide to build one.

I agree building your own computer is the cheapest and most personal way to go, if you know how to build them. I’ve priced a computer that I could get from HP for $3000, that I could custom build for less than a grand.
However, You can buy a fairly good computer from Walmart for around $600.
I’ve never browsed http://www.newegg.com, but http://www.outletpc.com is a good site. Also, although not as cheap is http://www.tigerdirect.com.
