I’ve been using a Windows pc for almost all of my life and liked Windows XP and Windows 2000. Now I am at the point in my life of getting a Macintosh computer, hopefully by Christmas. I’m not going to try to start an OS war at all. In many peoples belief they will claim that a Macintosh is a much better purchase then a Windows pc for a lot of reason. One reason is that you get no Spyware or Viruses and you dont need to use a firewall.
There are several reason Why I can proudly say I want a mac for many reasons. A new Macintosh will come with leopard pre-installed. Not only does it include leopard which by the way looks amazing has great utilities for anything you may want. Everything from Multi-Media to email to word processing. I also think Microsoft stole most of the stuff that Apple had already invented such as the Windows Sidebar, which is the same as the Gadgets.
One of the greatest screen captures is only for the Mac. Camtwist which is a very nice program in general, Which I have seen a lot people who own a mac fool around with camtwist, Boy does it just look so much better the any windows screen capture except Camtasia Studio which is a pretty nice program.Camtwist also does an amazing job capturing the video as well.

Most of the software for PCs are very expensive and have to many features that no body can figure out or use. But the Mac has amazing software which includes pre-install with leopard. iChat 08 iDVD 08, iMovie 08, iWeb 08, Garage Band. Now I am sure there are programs out there like that for windows but there probably not that great and it will be full of extra featues that no body will ever need.
If there are programs that do this on a Windows PC please let me know, I don’t think it wil be as good as any software for the mac. Windows developers can not make any good programs. When and if they do, it will not come any where near close to iLife or iChat and it will cost twice as much then a iLife which is about 130 dollars.

Microsoft’s Operating system Windows Vista does work to certain extent. Not only does it not work it has so many problems that I myself ran into and I could not take it anymore. The only thing that worked for me in Vista was my USB wireless keyboard and mouse, and most of the hard ware EXCEPT my Nvidia 8600GTS graphics card. (which by the way caused a blue screen almost every time I did something that involved a graphics intense program), but along the way Microsoft gave up on the user and stopped caring way back in XP. Microsoft also does a bad job with tech support and they refuse to keep selling XP. This is so annoying, Microsoft you know that Windows Vista is not what it should be and I can’t let Vista ruin my Windows experience but it has. Thanks to you Microsoft I will no longer be a Windows user at Christmas time.

Apple on the other hand, Is a great company. They do however have bad customer service, they do not treat there customers very nice. Once leopard comes out it will literally blow Windows Vista out of the water. Leopard is all around a much better overall purchase for a Mac user. I can’t wait to get my hands on a brand new MacBookPro or a Mac Mini by Christmas time. Thank you Apple for making a great OS that has everything I would want in general. You deserve a job well done and deserve more then Microsoft will ever get and keep up the good work Apple.
