A few weeks a go I recieved 3 free 64 bit Ubuntu Linux CDs in the mail, I received Ubuntu is a free open source operating that anyone can download and make better. Which is one reason I like open source programs they are easy to fix and can make it better. I officially installed and partitioned  it on my laptop meaning I dumped Windows Vista until Service Pack 1. But I am having a prob with Ubuntu and that is the wireless drivers do not work at all. But I don’t really care because I will need it for school to type papers and do Excel documents as well.

Ubuntu is a much faster and more reliable Operating System as well. But it Stills has some problems That I want them to fix as well. For exmple Linux and Wireless drivers are really bad, I need my laptop to connect to my Wireless g netgear router and I have tried downloading restrictive drivers from the manufactures as well. But I’m sure it be fixed soon.
