7th Microsoft Operating System

Windows 7 will be the new operating system and is the “7th” Windows operating system, hence Windows 7. I will not, however, buy another Windows-based PC after I get a Mac sometime in the near future. I’ve had it with Windows and its spyware and bloatware. All Windows products are bloated and resource hungry as well.
The only thing Microsoft has going for it is its Xbox 360. It does not matter to me how many service packs it releases for Vista, I will still not use it. Microsoft can’t force to me to use its operating system or hardware, It doesn’t matter how much you make it better, I still refuse to use it.
That is one reason why I am so happy with Dell right now. It basically told Microsoft: “we are not going to play along with your charade anymore.” Good Job Dell, Dells now come with Ubuntu on them.

Oh come on. Vista isn’t that bad is it?
Anyway, I’m actually looking forward to Vienna. Since it’s going to be released around 2009-2010, I think Microsoft might make a few innovations. (Yes. These things are possible). Who knows? Perhaps Vienna will be wonderful. Just because Vista isn’t great doesn’t mean everything else after that is going to be worse. I’m thinking Microsoft had learned it’s lesson. “Don’t start from scratch. Ever. Again.”
I’m still sticking with Windows or Linux for now. Never really been a Mac fan. I don’t think I ever will be.

That’s very interesting that Dell has switched to Ubuntu. I wasn’t aware, thanx for that added info. Is there a news article somewhere on that? I’d like to read about it.

Yeh Windows Vista Was A Big Let Down.
But Starting From Scratch Wasn’t A Bad Ideal.
There Proplem Was That Thay Needed To Make What
Thay Hade Beter, Like Make It So You Can Chose Your
Start Menu Look. XP Or The New Look Vista Style.
Same With The New Player, But It Also Has Its Proplems.
Instead Of Making What Thay Hade Beter, Thay Made
New Features That No Body Needs Or Likes, Some People
Well Even Find Its Harder To Use Vista.
