As you have possibly guessed by now, I like to keep up with the news when it comes to technology, which is why I’m pleased to announce that Apple’s iPhone will probably be coming to Belgium in June!!! But why’s this so important, Apple have been releasing the iPhone all over the world for the last year but I haven’t got so excited about them, and I don’t even live in Belgium, so why is this release so important.

One of the only things that really sours me on the idea of the iPhone is the contract and the fact that you are limited to the ONE carrier who supports the iPhone. Well in belgium Apple are apparently going to sell the iPhone unlocked, so that the iPhone isn’t limited to just using AT&T or O2. They can choose any contract they like. Several companies are already busy adding support for the iPhone to their network.

The reason this has got me excited is just the thought, is this the way Apple intend to continue. When the new 3G iPhone is (apparently) announced in June, will apple roll it out across all networks instead of just limiting it to one. Who knows, but there’s one thing we can all be certain on, anything can happen with our friedns in Cupertino.
