For those who have a CCNA and have been hiding under a shell, now is the time to check your expiration date.

Why? Well Cisco has recently announced that it is once more changing the exam - if memory serves this is iteration 6 - anyway, you have until November 5th, 2007 (inclusive) to resit or renew under the current model and then from the 6th it becomes a new beast.

Along the way it is introducing a newer, simpler, entry level certification a CCENT, or Cisco Certified Entry-Level Network Technician. I never truly believed the CCNA was entry level anyway and with the rumours ciirculating around about the newer exam and its contents then study quick, study hard, and make sure you book that exam spot soon.
