5 Imaginative Inventions

This first invention does not really exist, but is a concept that won the Red dot award. Imagine a ring that can that can transfer information with a single handshake! The only requirements of course would be that both parties possess this very cool future gadget. Share email addresses, your social networking information, business profiles, etc., the possibilities are numerous!

This second invention was actually created back in the 50’s, though few know about it. Now under the brand name LifeGem, you can have made an actual diamond, from your own or a loved one’s hair or cremated ashes. Imagine wearing a literal piece of your beloved, even after they have passed away. Or, perhaps you just want your other half to be with you, even when they are not physically present. For a tour of how this process is accomplished, be sure to check this link out.

Third, we have an interesting, but simple design, that will help to save lives and make life easier in third world countries and remote locations. Created by Mohammed Bah Abba, this device is based off a concept used throughout the millennia. A simple ceramic pot, has an inner pot insert, and between the two, a layer of sand. Keep your food stored inside, and you have a refrigerator, that can keep food fresh up to three weeks!

This next invention is very cool, for those who do not have the will power to quit smoking. Gamucci has created an electronic cigarette, that they claim only delivers you the nicotine, without the harmful fumes to the smoker, or those within their vicinity. Be sure to watch the video of this cigarette in action!

This last invention, once again will help people in rural areas, who do not have access to modern facilities. It is called the PlayPump Water System, and was invented as a way for small villages to not have to haul water over long distances, and to have a cleaner supply available. It is a well pump, fueled by children who play on a merry go round. A pretty cool idea!

Curious to include that nicotine delivery devices…
Recent studies have shown that the nicotine delivered via patches, gum and inhalers is as harmful as the smoked variety. Not to mention, that the oh so healthconscious pharma corps of course source the nicotine from big tobacco…
oh, well, now I get it…irony!
Thanks
that pottery fridge by the way, works brilliantly! Have been using various diy versions for over 20 refrigerator-free years!

Kovacz,
At the end of the comment area, I will have an interesting story about posting this comment.
Yes, I agree that mainstream tobacco made by the big corps, is highly toxic. There are however, small tobacco companies run by families and such, that still provide clean tobacco.
In South America, the shaman consume large quantities of tobacco, and quite frequently, for it’s hallucinogenic effects. As of yet, there has been no reports of these shaman having gotten cancer. Many believe, that it is indeed the chemicals put in the tobacco by ‘big pharma’, that are causing cancer, not the tobacco itself.
I personally liked the device, as it keeps the toxic smoke out of the air of people like me, who have a low tolerance for it.
I do believe this device is based on the same principle of the ‘vaporizer’ used to smoke weed. It works by heating, not burning, so that only the vaporous resins are released. It isn’t perfect, but it is an improvement.
Wow, no electric fridge for 20 years, I am impressed! I would love to do something like this myself, but my situation is always so unstable. I would have to create something that would work in a camper or travel trailer!
Ms. Wahala,
Hey, so glad to see you are still here! I hope your health and business is going well! I am just working on survival right now, and trying to get myself back to Seattle as soon as possible! Denver just really sucks in my opinion, and I would really like to be back where things are green again! Awesome to hear from you!
Note:
All day today,. i have been pretty out of it. I went to reply to these two comments, and kept forgetting to fill in the ‘verify this word’ field, so I lost my comment three times due to this, and not ‘copying’ first. On the fourth try, I had written the whole comment up, and went to ‘copy’, in case something went wrong. Io my horror, some weird ‘anomaly’ occurred, and the page suddenly turned before I even had a chance to click ‘copy’. There was nothing on the screen except for a picture, a picture if you can imagine, of a small travel trailer, just like I had mentioned in my comment! Here is the pic: http://tinyurl.com/6rwjoq
I have no clue how this occurred, but I figured it was obviously a sign!
