I recently decided to try out the StumbleUpon toolbar, and have to say, I am pretty impressed! I remember several years ago, there was a service out there with a similar idea, but this is far more superior.
With StumbleUpon, there is the social networking aspect, and the cool features that come with their toolbar. For example, I can send links to people with an ease I have never had before. I can rate the pages I view, and view other’s opinions of the same pages. I can limit my Stumble searches, or use the general setup, with my predefined preferences. It is also an excellent way to advertise my blog.
Here are some of the cool finds I found in my recent Stumbles…
- They’re Made Out of Meat: This is an excellent short story that was nominated for a Nebula award.
- The Tenth Dimension: A very cool little video, to help you understand the various dimensions, up to the 10th dimension.
- USB Cell Rechargeable Batteries: Amazing and cool!
- How to Pick a Lock: The title says it all.
Here are some cool videos I Stumbled…
- Memory trick
- Hack a Coke Machine
- Spin: This is an awesome vid!
- Animusic: Very Cool!
- Humans
- Crazy Drum Skills
- Viewing Security Videos
I hope you have enjoyed my Stumblings, and perhaps we will stumble upon each other one of these days!
